FAQ

  • Do I need a touch-up?
Touch-ups are highly recommended. Due to each individual's uniqueness and the superficial nature of the tattoo itself, touch-ups provide an opportunity to assess how your skin responds to the procedure. Touch-ups provide an opportunity to make any adjustments necessary while also lengthening the longevity of your tattoo. These sessions are not included in the initial price and need to be booked between 3-6 weeks from the time of your first session.
  • If it is semi-permanent, will it disappear completely?"
This is a common misconception. Permanent makeup requires infrequent maintenance. Fading your tattoo will happen slowly over time and may get to a point where you are undetectable, but there are no guarantees. To maintain its color, shape, and detail, refresh appointments are needed. The length of time and condition of fading is unique to the individual - variables to consider are lifestyle choices, skin health/integrity, skincare products, age, and techniques/technology within the cosmetic tattoo industry. For most people, their tattoo will last between 1-3 years before booking a refresh.
  • How do I proceed if I have previous work done by another artist?
Previous work can be tricky. Your tattoo's current state and understanding your expectations will help your artist offer advice and help achieve the desired result. All coverups must be pre-approved before booking. Please send a photo in natural light via the contact page on this website. Or schedule a free phone consultation; Nata-sha is always there to help you find the best solution for you.

  • What Is Ombré Powder?
Ombré Powder is a semi-permanent tattoo; it is a process in which a trained technician uses a handheld machine and pigment to create the appearance of a powder-like finish. In this process, the technician creates tiny superficial dots on the skin's epidermis layer that mimic powder-filled brows. This is done in an Ombré manner, starting light at the front of the brows and goes dark towards the brows' tail for a more dimensional brow finish.

  • Can you cover old tattoos?
It depends; most tattoos, yes. Some of the traditional tattoos are more difficult to work with. They are deeply layered versus the softer approach used today. Most of the time, traditional tattoos require tattoo removal and a resting period for the skin before being worked on again. However, you can send us a picture of your eyebrows, and we can tell you what can and cannot be done. In some cases, clients get it completely removed before coming to us, which is also another option available.
  • Is one visit is enough?
Two sessions are highly recommended for new clients who have never done any permanent makeup procedure. The second session is your touch-up session! After that, it depends on how long your skin can retain the tattoo. It can take another 1.5 years to 2.5 years for you to come back for a new appointment.
